Class days, weekly rhythm, and how Highland fits the rest of your homeschool week — we'll walk you through it in detail during the family interview, but the basics are happy to share by email.
Tuition is structured per course, not as a flat annual fee. The full schedule is reviewed during your family interview — but we're happy to give a rough range by email beforehand.
Our catalog evolves each semester. Browse the current catalog or ask us — if there's enough family interest, we add courses each year.
Highland Academy is in Hickory, NC. Most of our families drive less than 30 minutes — from Catawba, Burke, Caldwell, Alexander, and Iredell counties.
Honest answer: not every family. We're Christian, hybrid (not full-time), and we expect parents to stay engaged. If that sounds right, apply and we'll talk through fit during the interview.
Applications for Fall 2026 are open now. We can also discuss Spring 2027 or later semesters during your family interview — just let us know your timing.
